A quick altered clock tutorial

I gave this clock to Michelle for her Birthday in early August.  It was a fun project and I would definitely make another should the "need" arise.  :)
The hardest part was definitely choosing which papers I was going to use.
Once I made my decisions, I painted the edges of the clock a soft yellow to compliment the paper.  I only used one sheet of paper for the background.  It was such a busy piece anyway and I was going to have lots of stuff on the clock with the picture, numbers, embellishments and clock parts!
Paper Adhered to wooden clock board.  Poked a hole in the middle for the clock part opening.
Here are the unassembled clock parts.  I was a tad bit intimidated at first, but quickly figured it out.  The clock was really appreciated by its recipient.  ;)

Darling project. I love the use of glue dots to apply scrabble piece. What a brilliant idea.

Hi Angela!
LOVE YOUR clock!!!
I had an idea as i looked at it (becasue I just picked up pizza last night and they were offering magnet business card thingys.

SO my idea was what if under the photo area there was metal so that the photo could have some magnet backing and you could change the photo to show how time IS passing and maybe we would be more aware???

BUT I DO LOVE it JUST the say it is??? I lOVE the words and materials used!

Hugs, mary
